The interior of the rare Kyoto porcelain-mounted Cabinet on Stand. Please see Item 5030 The doors with peony and shi-shi set amongst lacquer flowers and rockwork and enclosing assymetrical drawers decorated with enamel and gilt porcelain ferns and over 100 appliques, many signed. This Cabinet was a Gift to Lord Charles Montague Douglas Scott, son of the Duke of Buccleuch from Japan in 1858. From thence by direct inheritance.
