A Fine quality and most interesting pair of Yew wood Treen cups . The underside of one bears the remnants of a dedication label reading:- With thanks and love to Lady MacDonald....Turned from Yew...grown at Welbeck. It may be assumed that the tree was grown on her Ladyship\'s Estate. The shape of the cups conforms to the Neo-Classical taste seen in cups of silver, porcelain and stone between 1800 and 1830.
