19th Century Music Stool, Regency Period, Carved Rosewood and Steel

A wonderful Regency period rosewood music stool to designs by George Smith. The adjustable seat, with hand cut steel screw thread, on a turned rosewood stem with gilt metal collar and carved stylised acanthus leaf, reeding and gadrooning on a quatreform base with turned tulip feet. Of exceptional quality and superb colour. The original horsehair stuffed seat with rexine cover.
